GERMANS HARASSED BY BELGIAN FORAYS.
TROOPS LIVING IN TRAINS WAITING FOR SUPPLIES. SICKNESS SPREADING AMONG GERMAN SOLDIERS. (Received October 1, 2.5 a..m.) London, September 29. Belgian forays from Antwerp between September 9 and 14 inflicted great losses in killed and wounded and resulted in the capture of between 2000 and 3000 Germans. t The Belgian activity has necessitated maintaining the last German reserve at Liege, where there has been great congestion of troops. Recently 100,000 men destined for the Aisne were held up and had to live in railway trains and encamped on the hills surrounding the railway yards, as they could not be sent ahead of supplies and munitions. It is reported that sickness is spreading among these waiting troops. Two or three divisions with heavy siege guns intended for the Aisne were diverted to Antwerp.
