DRAINAGE BOARD.
Tins Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board met last night, there being present Messrs. J. Court, in the chair, J. Dempsey, AI. McLean, J. Trevethick, G. Knight, F. D. Parsons, G. J. Garland, J. A. Warnock, G. Baildon, W. Forrest' P McElwain, R. T. Michaels, H. B. Morton and J. .VI. Mennie. ' The Eptom Road Board was granted permission to erect a dumping station in Gillies Avenue, subject to the usual conditions. The engineer was authorised to have a subsidiary furnace constructed at Orakei, at a cost of £136. The Finance Committer's report showed that arrangements had been made with the bank for sufficient money to carry out all works now in hand.
