GREAT WAR DEMONSTRATION IN ROME.
BRITAIN HAILED AS FEIEND OF ITALY.
GERMAN AND AUSTRIAN EMBASSIES GUARDED.

Rome, September 21.
A hundred thousand people took part in a demonstration at the British Embassy on Sunday. There were deafening cheers and shouting of "Long Live Britain, the Friend of Italy." Troops specially guarded the German and Austrian Embassies.
