LAND COMPANY'S GIFTS.
DISTRIBUTION OF £15,000.
(Received September 22, 10.30 p.m.) Sydney, September 22. The Lord Mayor's Fund amounts
to £118,000.
The New Zealand and Australian Land Company has decided to distribute £15,000 in war relief funds in the several Australian States where the company carries on business.

Router's Agency reports that the manager of the Ottoman Telegraphs Company at Constantinople, who is welt known to have friendly feelings towards Britain and France, has been arrested as a result of German pressure because he published authentic war news.
