TOWN BOARD ELECTIONS.
POLL AT. LEAMINGTON,
On Wednesday the election of members of the Leamington Town Board was held, with the following result:—W. F. Morse, 120> George Day, 113; Wm. White, 112; Jas. Keeley, 106; H. .Bell, 102; W. J. .White, 91; T. H. Kelly, 88. These were elected. Those who were unsuccessful were; J. Montgomery, 69; A E. Thornley, 58; C. Jarrett, 54; J. T. Jarrett, 58. Three members of the old board were re-elected, namely, Messrs. Morse, Keeley, and W. J. White.
HELENSVTLLE. The following is the result of the Helensville • Town Board election :-E. Thurlow Field, 247; James Stewart 233; James F. Lambert, 229; John A. Wilson, 194; Thomas Elliott, 176; Captain Sellars, 171; Alfred Becroft, 170. The unsuccessful candidates were: Walter J. Ellott, 164; Francis W. Strange, 163; James Hard, 151; James McLeod, 139; David Donovan, 112. A total of 372 electors recorded votes out of 607 on the roll.
WARKWORTH. The Noting at Warkworth resulted:— Wm. Civil, 66; Richard N. Warin, 81; Thos. H. Wilson, 79; Alex. Warin, 78; B. H. McKinney, 56; J. V. Shoesmith, 55; A. D. Grant, 51; Thos. Williams, 51. The first five were declared duly elected. Exactly 130 voters recorded their-votes. BUCKLAND. ' Details of the voting at Buekland were as follows:—D. Fulton, 132; J. Pirrett, 126; W. A. Strahan, 125; J. S. Ryder, 118; J. 11. Craig, 115; H. B. Free, 105; W. Glasgow, 96; A. McGuire, 94; F. Hyde, 69; B. G. Geraghty, 58; J. J. Dromgool, 52; T. B. McGahaii, 43; S. E. C. Johnston, 35; T. McGahan, 34. There were no informal votes. The first seven were declared elected. WAIUKU. ; 'A record was put up at Waiuku, when every person on the roll voted at the first election of five members to the newlyconstituted Town Board. The contest was keen, there being no less than 14 candidates for the five seats. There was only one informal vote. Mr. W. J. King, returning officer, declared the following elected T. Reid, 188; J. Walters, 140;- J. -Gnbble, 138; 0. Mellsop, 127; A. M, Barriball, 92.
