WORKERS' HOMES.

Wellington, Thursday. I.v the House of Representatives to-night Mr. Massey stated that it was proposed to introduce, legislation to extend the area of land which could be taken up for workers' homes. There were 72 workers' homes now in course of erection in various parts of the Dominion. It was proposed to complete 191 homes during the present year.
