Many New Zealanders have been enrolled in the New South Wales contingent of the Australian expeditionary force. One of them is a full-blooded Maori, who is instructing his comrades in the terrifying subtleties of the native warfry. This contingent also includes a large number of Englishmen, and it is believed that not, more than 20 per cent, of the New South Wales section will consist of natives of that State. I
