FATAL ACCIDENT TO A BOY.
DRAGGED BY A HORSE.
[bt telegraph.—press association.] Palmekston North, Thursday. A fatal accident befel the ten-year-old son of Mr. John Jellyman, of A&hhurst, late yesterday. The bov was leading a horse, when it took fright, and the reins gettinc coiled round the boy's body and neck he was dragged about a quarter of a-mile. The torse jumped a fence and pulled the boy against it. His neck, arms, leg, and several ribs were broken.
