About 800 tons are for Auckland, the other 800 tons being consigned to Southern ports. Instead of retiirmns to Sydney this trip, the ttivenna will nail to-morrow afternoon for hast Coast and Southern ports, in place of the Victoria.

ARRIVAL OF THE NIAGARA. P. m - yesterday the Union Company's R.M.S. Niagara. Captain J. T. Rolls, arrived at Auckland, from Vancouver, via Victoria lis ( '-' and Honolulu. The linor was reported from lintiri at noon, and was boarded in the Bangitoto Channel by the harbourmaster, Captain H. H. Sargeant, tho port health officer,, and the Customs authorities. The usual inspection was thus completed by' lho time the vessel entered tho port, and sho was berthed at tho King's Wharf at 2 p.m. The vessel brought 303 passengers in oil classes for New Zealand and Australia. She also has on board 3750 tons of cargo, 836 tons of which will bo discharged at Auckland, while 765 tons are for transhipment to Fiji, and 2148 tons are for Australia. The Niagara, « timed to sail at 4 p.m. to-morrow for Sydney direct.
