AUCKLAND CLUB.
The qualifying round of the Auckland Golf Crab 8 junior championships was played at Middkoioro en Saturday, Tho following qualified, and have been drawn to meet in (ho first round next Saturday:—A. H. D Pool plays W. Gorrio. 13. Dawson plays 3. ,T. Kingston, (J. S. Pierce plays H. Gilflllan, C. R. Brown plays S. Ruddock, P. N. Kingswoli plays A. Gorrio, E. Bloomfiold nlrfys 0. Footo, C, Mnhony plays A. A. Martin. ','{. Hislop, G. Hart and .1. D. Macfarlano tied for sixteenth place, and will play off during the week. Tho winner will play S. Uaiina next Saturday. A medal handicap was also played, tho winner being A, G-orrie, 93—18—76, • Tin next best was F. J. Sharland. 79-3—76. MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB. The semi-finals of the Maunaakiokie Golf Club's senior and junior championships were played on Saturday afternoon. In the former division, X. P. Green beat R. 0. Gardner, 2 and 1; and W. H. _ Grace beat C. F. Gardner, 5 and 3. hi the junior division, P. Morris beat J, M. Thornton, 1 up; and F. Trice beat X. Hanna, 1 and '-. WAITEMATA CLUB. Tlio third round of the Wnitcmnln Golf Club's championship was played on Saturday afternoon, when W. F. Warren heat A. M. Howdcn by 5 up and 3 to play, and D. Jefferies beat W. E. Bush 5 and 1.
