THOUSANDS OUT OF ACTION.
OTHERS SEEKING REFUGE.
Brussels, August 15. The Belgians have taken over 2000 prisoners.
As they have- insufficient accommodation for them, they have asked the French to take charge of them.
Tho French have captured 1500 prisoners at other parts of the frontier.
Many German deserters have reached the French lines, while many prisoners and several machine guns have been captured. It is officially announced that many German patrols have taken refuge in Switzerland.
Two German officers disguised as tourists with a costly motor-car laden with sufficient melinite to destroy the biggest bridge in France, were arrested at Tours.
Tho occupants were immediately shot.
