SUSPECT SHOT DEAD.
London, August 12.
Max Bernstein Laures, a musichall artist, who was arrested •in London as a German spy on August 7, has been deported with five others.
The sentries on a bridge over the canal near Liverpool shot dead a pedlar who failed -to answer a challenge.
Laures stated that he was born in Australia, and went to Africa, afterwards proceeding to England. v He worked for Messrs. Vickers, Maxim, and was perfecting an inflammable aeroplane , projectilo •
