THREE KINGS DANGER.

Plunket, Lloyd's surveyor, to a lecture delivered last night under the auspices of the Auckland Insuranco Institute. Tbo speaker went on to say that it had been suggested that a light-ship off the West King, or a buoy in the same place, would bo sufficient protection to shipping, 00 he was satisfied that both proposals were out of the question. He thought a lip on tho Wost King, where the Elingamito was wrecked, would also be impracticable, and advocated a light being placed on the highest part of the island, where it would be visible from all points.
