OFFICIAL PRESS BUREAU'S REVIEW OF HOSTILITIES.
IMPORTANT NEWS CANNOT BE EXPECTED AT PRESENT GERMAN FORCES MASSED IN BELGIUM AND LUXEMBURG. (Received August 13, 8.30 p.m.) London, August 12. The official Press Bureau states that during this period of , hostilities no news of importance can be expected. The movements of the British Army and the allies cannot be divulged, and over the proceedings of the enemy lies the fog of war. ■ There is good reason to believe that the mass of the Germans is distributed between Thionvillc and Liege, while Lorraine is held comparatively lightly. There is every indication that Austrians have entered Alsace. It is believed that none of the forts of Liege have been taken.
