GREATER AUCKLAND.
THE REMUERA COMMISSION
The commission which is inquiring into the proposal that the Remuera Road District should be amalgamated with tho city, continued its sittings last evening. Mr. C C. Kettle, S.M., presided, and with him Silt Messrs. H. M. Skeet and F.. F. Mackenzie. Mr., A. E. Skeltoa appeared for the petitioners in favour of amalgamation, and Mr. R. McYi-agh for certain objecting ratepayers. Counsel commenced their addresses, but had not concluded them when the commission adjourned.
