' Paris, August 10. The French on Saturday night captured the passes of Bonhomme and St. Marie, through the Vosgcs Mountains, which form tho natural frontier between Germany and France. They also hold tho summits commanding tho St. Maricux mines.
Tho French troops continue to hold Ferncy-Voltaire, Mulhausen, and Altkirch. Before them is the forest of Hart, which is strongly held.
Numerous skirmishes have occurred along the whole front. Both Germans and French were killed and wounded at Altkirch.
Neubreisach is a fortified town in Alsace-Lorraine, on the Rhone Canal. It lies about 25 miles north of Molhauaen and 50 milca so,nth of Strasburg. The concentration of German troops at Neubrcisach indicates that an attempt is to bo mado hero to resist the further advance of the French up the Valley of the Hhino towards Strasburg.
