OPERA HOUSE.

The current programme at the Opera House attracted another largo audience last night, and each turn was received with hearty applause.

"THE DANDIES." Although "The Dandies" have had a lengthy season in Auckland, the Town Hall concert chamber continues to be well filled each evening, and the talented company never fails to give satisfaction. A complete, change of programme will be given to-morrow night. SAILORS' CONCERT. A very enjoyable concert was given in the Seamen's Mission Hall last evening under the auspices of the Flybg Angel Missions to Seamen. The missiuner, Mr. Arthur P. Cowie, presided. PICTURE ENTERTAINMENTS. Largo and enthusiastic audiences greeted the pictures of Monday's procession of territorials through Queen Street at all sessions of the Princess Theatre yesterday. An unusually attractive programme is shown, in which a stirring detective drama, entitled " Fantomas," is the " star" film. The series will be presented again to-day. "The Black Mafia,'' a thrilling detective drama, and the " star" picture in this week's.programme at the King George Theatre, found favour with the large numbers of people who patronised the entertainment yesterday. The supporting programme contains the usual scenic, dramatic and educational films, and is particularly rich in the comedy element. The special attraction at the Alhambra Theatre this week is a weird and fascinating drama, entitled "Tlio Vampire." A large budget of interesting films are also shown.

"Ku Klux Klan," a picture which, in the working out of its plot, readies the highest degree of sensationalism, attracted largo audiences to the Queens Theatro yesterday. "A Pack of Cards," a thrilling story of tho North West Police, heads the current programmo at tho Globo Theatre, which was ■ well attended at all sessions yesterday. Tho Newton Picture Palace is presenting the usual attractive series this week, "Chivalry Outlawed" being the "star" film.

A patriotic film, entitled "Fighting ; Blood of 1809," is being shown this week at the King's Theatre. The Empress Theatre is proving very popular with picture-goers, and since its opening has been well patronised. A very fine programme is being screened to-night. "Paid in Full" will bo tho "star" picture at the Lyric and West End Theatres until the end of tho week.
