DEATH IN AN OFFICE.
Tub many friends of Mr. E. S. Medley, of Messrs. Harrop and Medley, will regret to learn of his death, which took placo yos'lerday. Mr. Medley was well known in business circles, and was highly respected, by all.
The body of the deceased was found in his ofllco 'in Shortland Street early yesterday afternoon By his side was an empty poison bottlo, 'and some letters found in the deceased's possession indicated that lie intended to take his own life. An inquest? will bo held this morning by Mr. F. V. Frazer, S.M. Tho deceased, whoso age was 56 years, is stated to have boon much,depressed of to. i Ho leaves a wife and two daughters.
