TREACHEROUS ALIENS.

PUBLIC BUILDINGS GUARDED.
BERLIN LETTERS STOPPED.
London, August 9. Many rifles and revolvers have already been seized in London. Detectives continue day and night a systematic search. Numerous arrests are being made. All public buildings are strongly guarded.
The General Post Office is surrounded by bomb-proof wire-netting, and troops are stationed inside the building. It iB understood a number of letters intended for Berlin were intercepted.
The Evening News says there is evidence of . widespread buying of firearms and explosives by Germans,
