ROYAL VISITS TO SHIPS.

London, July 16. Arrangements have been made by Sir Ernost ( Shacklcton that Mjr. Worsley, a. New Zealander, shall navigate the Endurance. Afterwards ho will survey and explore the Antarctic coasts. Mr. Macintosh leads the Ross Sea party, which will be composed of Ernest Joyce, A. If. Minnis, and H. Wild. Tho Endurance leaves London on July 29 for Cowes, where the King will visit hor. Queen Alexandra and the Empress Marie have promised to pay a private visit, to the Euduranco beforo she leaves London.

Copenhagen, July 16.
Tho Swedish Antarctic expedition which is to leave for tho South in the autumn of 1915 will be led by Dr. Otto Nordonskjold, Professor of Geography in the University of Gothenburg.
The expedition will cost £15,000. One half of this sum has been voted by the Swedish Parliament, while the remainder has been subscribed.
