W.vxGAKtri, Thursday. ' A sensational motor accident, in which the occupants hod a miraculous escape from death, occurred last night. A lady and gentleman, residents of Stratford, wcre moto-ing home from Wangamii in a new car- At Manutahi the driver did not. observe that tho road took a sharp turn to the right and, in keeping straight ahead, the car went over an embankment fully 50ft high. It landed on a heavy barbed-wire fence. Fortunately for the occupants it did not overturn. Neither of the travellers was injured btyond severe, shock and a few 'scratches from the barbs. He- was taken to the hospital. A, fortnight ago the boy's sister and another little girl were knocked down by a motor-car in the main street, but escaped with slight injuries.
