' Capetown, July 15. The steamer > Ayrshire has arrived. She had discharged part of her cargo when a fire was located among it.
The hold was flooded and the outbreak extinguished. .
The Ayrshire is one of the Scottish Shire liners. She- is a steel twin-screw steamer of 7763 tons. The vessel, which is commanded by Captain Page, left Liverpool on June 20 en route for Australian ports, via the Cape.
