COW-TESTING IN TARANAKI.
The following is a'summary of the returns for the season 1913-14, of the Kaupokonui Cow-testing Association :—Tho highest herd averaged 389.951b butter-fat per cow. Tho" lowest herd averaged 191,461b butter-fat per cow. The '0 highest herds averaged 382.601b butterfat per cow. The ten lowest herds averaged 266.691b butter-fat per cow. The average association cow gave 264.091b but-ter-fat per cow. Tho average association cow for previous season gave 235.721b butter-fat. The increased amount per cow being 28.371b butter-fat. The highest individual yield uas 19.4121b milk, with 714.401b butter-fat in 341 days. The ten highest herd averages were as follows :—
