SESSION IN THE AUTUMN.
BELIEF OF THE LOBBIES. (Received July 12. 5.5 p.m.) London, July 11. The belief is. held in the lobbies that the Government has decided to prorogue about the middle of August and inaugurate a new session in the autumn. The Premier will announce his intentions on Monday. . According to tho Daily News the now session will open at the end of November.
A steamer has landed at Belfast 300 rifles and 10,000 cartridges concealed in tyres. A portion of the consignment has been despatched to Derry.
Reports from Tralec state that 2500 rifles of a French pattern have been landed on the Kerry coast.
ORANGE DAY PRECAUTIONS.
POLICE TO CARRY RIFLES.
Timos and Sydney Sun Services. London, July 10.
The decision has been made that only police from the country districts shall be on duty in Ulster on July 12. Disturbances are feared if the force be drawn from large towns or the border-line.
The police detailed for duty are being armed with rifles and ball cartridge.
