ODD JOBS FOR WOMEN.
One of tho opposite sex has been reading _ our Ladies' Page, and makes some spirited remarks regarding the article, " Odd Jobs for Men," which appeared last week.
"That's all very well!" he exclaims, " What about odd jobs for women ? You might also have added, There aro many little, things about a homo that would only take a few moments of a woman's time once she really set about them!" Why not have another list, also in a conspicuous placebeside tho mirror, over the diningroom mantel, for instance — which the men of the house could iot down " those tasks, which are too hard or otherwise unsuitable for men." Such a list might read something like this: " Buttonhole at back of shirt, collarband wants sewing up." " Downt to my last pair of soxwhen do I got any more?" "Dining-room window want's cleaning—can't see out!" "All tho buttons off my pyjama coat." These are just a few of the odd jobs for women that have a knack of being overlooked. There are lots more that crop up continually to swell the list. It would be an excellent idea to hang the two lists side by side, then each would be ablo to see at a glance just how tho account stood—no knives to be sharpened until all buttons were sewn on, ana so on." Tho idea is a good one, and it is to be hoped our. male reader will be successful in introducing it in his own home !
