GREY LYNN CLUB.
The annual meeting of (ho Grey Lvnn Bowling Club was held in the imdion on Wednesday evening. An attendance of aVal : 40 members was presided over by M H ' grove. The balance-sheet, which « the mo 4 I satisfactory one in the club's history, met with very favourable comment and, with tt« committee's report, was adopted. y o mo 30 debentures were drawn for redemption. following wero elßC *«d to office:-'', latron, Mr. James Pascoe; president, Mr W. Clark; treasurer', : Mr. J, Burfoot; committee, Messrs. H, Clarke, Crookbain, Leydon, Davies, Francis' Holdsworth; auditor, Mr. Holdsworth; winter green committee, Messrs. Sharpies McIvor, and Ferguson; reporter, Mr. Geo! Colneft.
A number of trophies were promised for the coming season. An attempt was made to revert to the sole solector system for club matches, but the proposal was not carried, the club deciding to rely on a match committee of three. Votes of thanks were passed to the ladies who assisted with tho afternoon teas, to the retiring committeemen, and tho press.
