WEATHER IN JUNE.

<>•- RAINFALL BELOW AVERAGE, COOLER AND MORE CLOUDY. Rain fell on 22 days during tho month of June, the total amount recorded being 3.32 in. The heaviest fall registered for any period of 24 hours* was .77in on June 10. The average rainfall for the month of June, computed over a period of 45 years, is 4.53 in, so that the fall for Juno of this year was 1.21 in below nominal. The greatest rainfall recorded in this month was 10.41 in in 1889, while other heavy falls were 7.75 in in 1867, 6.68 in in 1881, and 6,32 in in 1887. July, however, has opened with rain, and several heavy showers foil last night. Tho past month was a little wanner than the corresponding month of last year, tho mean temperature recorded being 51.3 degrees against 49.8 degrees in June, 1913. The average mean temperature for June is 63.8 degrees. Sunshine totalling 100 hours 30 minutes was recorded during the month just closed, the daily average being 3h 21m. In June, 1913, tbe total sunshine was 119h 30m, with a daily average of 3h 59m. The weather during the month was mora cloudy than usual.
