BUTTER IN COOL STORE.
REDUCING STOCKS IN HAND. [BY TELEGRAPH. — ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. The following quantities of butter are in cool store at various ports at' the present time:—Auckland, 24,852 boxes; New Plymouth, 7958 boxes;' Patea, 2036 boxes; Wanganui, 1461 boxes; Wellington, 25,266 boxes; Lyttelton, 4071 boxes; Dunedin, 2228 boxes. & Total, 67,872 boxes, i The total quantity in the stores on July j 1, 1913, was 41,098 boxes, and on July 1, 1912, 51,035 boxes.
A considerable reduction has been made in tho stocks' in cool '.tore since June 1. 1 On that, dale there wire 89,895 boxes in store at the principal ports, so that a total of 22,023 boxes have Seen removed from, store for export' or local consumption during t.he past month. Tho quantity in store at Auckland has been reduced by 9166 boxes, and that at Wellington by 7016 boxes. There wero 66,390 boxes in store on June .1, 1913.
