The members of the Auckland nursing division of the St. John 'Ambulance Brigade, met for their fortnightly meeting on Tuesday evening, at the ambulance station. Br McDowell gave a most interesting and instructive lecture on " Flies as Disease Carriers," and impressed upon those present the necessity of using every means I to exterminate the household fly.
