London, June SO. The Leader of the Government in the House of Lords, Earl Crewe, informed the House to-day that the second reading of the Home Rule Bill would stand over till the amending Bill was read a second time.
Colonel Maurice Moore, inspecting the Nationalist Volunteers at Athenry, said that the immediate purpose of the movement was Homo Rule, but the spirit animating them was the spirit of Wolfe Tone, Robert Emmet, the Fenians, and the men of 184S and 1R67. This was the spirit which would raise Ireland into a great nation.' NATIONALIST . VOLUNTEERS. COMMITTEE NOMINEES. Tiir.cs and Sydney Sun Services. London, Juno 30. Mr. John Redmond's nominees on the committees of the Nationalist Volunteers comprise four Catholic clergymen, three members of Parliament, including Mr. Joseph Devlin, the Lord Mayor of Dublin, and several provincial Mayors, Mr. Nugent, of the Hibernian Society, and Mr. Hutchinson, of tho National Order of Foresters. A Dublin Barristers' Association has started in Dublin with tho object of giving assistance to the volunteers.
