S.M., to-day against the New Zealand V; ■shipping Company on a claim made by a : | passenger for £16 15s for luggage lost on yl tihe voyage from London. The company |# had admitted liability, but for £5 only, in '■.■■■■ accordance with a condition endorsed on § tiie back of the passenger's ticket.
Trie magistrate held that passengers' attention must be drawn to these condition.
