ACTRESS AND HER PHOTO.
ACTION OVER PUBLICATION.
Times and Sydney Su'U Services.
London*, June 28. A MUSIC-HALL actress,, Miss Jane Wood, is suing Eugene Sandow for damages for libel by printing her portrait as an advertisement illustrating Sandow's corsets. Plaintiff gave evidence that she was photographed with a view to publication by the newspapers as a celebrity, not as a corset model. Saudow paid the photographer four guineas for a copy. She never wore a Sandow corset.
