RELIEF FOR BRITISH TRADE.

London, June 28. The Hon. G. S. Montague, Undersecretary for India, replying to a deputation yesterday, promised to support an export allowance to British and Irish tobacco, to enable it to compete with the foreigngrown article, which is not hampered by excise restrictions.
