Tub session lias ended, both Houses having passed the Supply Bills. In (he valedictory speeches Mr. Cook expressed tho hope that tho coming elections would be able to shape the issues properly and get an intelligent verdict from tho people. The Constitution was on its trial. A member interjected: "Sir Ronald Munro-Ferpison is on trial." Mr. Cook replied that all blame should bo placed on his (Mr. Cook's) shoulders., Tho further away they kept tho Governor* General tho better for all concerned. Mr. Fisher further said that ho was pleased that th.'i battle was being trans-i forred from tho llouso to the hustings.
