LADY'S RECORD SWIM.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received June 28, 5.5 p.m.) London, June 27. An Australian, Miss M. Kenny, yesterday swam from the Palace Pier at -Brighton to Shoreham, a distance of five miles, in 143 minutes. This constitutes a record, and was accomplished despite a rough sea.
