ONE-TREE HILL ROAD BOARD.
An adjourned meeting of the Onc-lreo Hill Road Board was bold on Friday, and was attended by the chairman (Mr. 11. 13. Morton) and Messrs. Rowe, Dobbie, Dykes, Slyfiald, and Payne. Tim chairman and Mr. Dobbie were authorised to act in the matter of providing a "dump" for 1 lie portion of tho district which is at present outside the drainage area. It was resolved to start a system of concrete kerbinp and channelling, and to lay a test section of the Manukau Road with a bituminous substance known as " bituco." The question of tree-planting was fully discussed, and it was decided to plant Pukenui Road, and to offer to co-operate with residents of any other road in the district who, like those in Pukenui Road, wish to avail themselves of tho board's conditions.
