TEACHER'S RETIREMENT.

TWENTY-FIVE YEARS' SERVICE.

Th.b teachers and pupils of the Otiohunga school assembled in one of the classrooms on Friday to bid good-by oto Mr. James Robb, who has resigned from the Education Board's sorvice after serving that body faithfully for 25 years. On behalf of tho staff and pupils, the headmaster (Mr. W. N. Mcintosh) presented Mr. Robb with a very handsome escritoire, and an oak and silver inkstand. He said that the service had lost in Mr. Robb h zealous and faithful servant. Ho and his staff and pupils trusted that Mr. Robb would be successful in his new sphero of life, and that he would be as happy there as he had been in his position as first assistant of the Onehunga school. After the presentation Mr. and Mrs. Robb were invited by the headmaster and staff to partake of afternoon tea.
