London, June 25. During the. Alexandra Day campaign in celebration of the anniversary of the Queen Mother's first arrival in. Britain, a \wo-year-old rose seller waylaid Quern Alexandra's carriage. The Qu ia Mother alighted and bought Lu'chcs 'or the Prince of Wales and Prince Albert, paying half a sovereign each for themRose sellers penetrated Downing Street and interrupted the Cabinet meeting while they pinned buttonholes in the Ministers' coats. The New Zealand ladies accepted Mrs. Asquith's hospitality at Downing Street. The girls were greeted at the Old Bailey, v. jaw they sold 100 rose? to counsel and reporters. The takings for the drv's campaign exceeded £45,000.
