MR, BERRIES AT NELSON.
[BT TELEGRAPH *B1!SS ASSOCIATION.] Nelson, Tuesday Speaking at Nelson last night, the Hon. W. Hemes, Minister for Railways, in reply to the criticism of the Liberal "fly. ing squadron," declared that during the coming session the Government would "complete the redemption of its'pledges, with the exception of compulsory insurance against employment, in connection with which they were watching the working of Mr. Lloyd George's scheme at Homo. A motion of thanks and confidence in the Government was declared carried on the voices amidst some uproar.
