ROAD BOARDS.
EDEN TERRACE AFFAIRS.
The Eden Terrace Road Board met. last night. There were present: Messrs. P. McElwain (chairman); C. H. Olive, T. McLaughlin, W. H. Butler, and H. A. Good. Mr. P. T. 'Birch, who is out of town, wrote apologising for his absence.
The State Advances Board advised it was prepared to grant a loan of £500 at the rate of 4i per cent, to provide fcr a water supply for sanitary purposes. Or. the motion of Mr. Good it was decided to apply for this loan.
TAMAKI WEST. The Tamaki West Road Board met last week. Present: Messrs. J. W. Andrews. W. W. Baker, G. F. Campbell, J. T. McHugh, and E. Pilkington. Mr. G. F. 'Campbell was reappointed chairman.
It was decided that a water supply should be put into Rowenga Estate providing Mr. Cowern paid £25 towards the cost. • • It was resolved that the contribution of £30 towards: footpaths in Kohimarama should be spent at the end of the winter.
