London, May. 13. Dr. Mawson, of Antarctic exploration fame, was received by the King to-day, and was granted half an hour's audience. His Majesty was keenly interested in the personal experiences of the explorer, and "asked many questions, particularly relating to the Australian aspects of the expedition.
