THE LOCAL BODIES' LOANS ACT, 1913, THE NEW ZEALAND STATE-GUAR-ANTEED ADVANCES ACT. 1909, THE ROAD BOARDS ACT, 1908, AND ANY OTHER STATUTES NOW OR HEREAFTER PASSED AFFECTING LOANS TO LOCAL BODIES. PROPOSED LOAN OF £1500 FOR THE PURPOSE OF METALLING THE GREAT SOUTH ROAD BETWEEN HUNTLY AND RANGIRIRI. Tho Huntly Road Board hereby gives notice:— 1. That the particular purpose for which the Loan is required is for the Metalling of the. Great South Road between Huntly and Rangiriri. 2. That it being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of ordinary revenue, proposes to borrow the sum of £1500 for such purpose. 3. That it proposes that such Loan of £1500, together with interest at the rate of 41 per centum per annum, shall be paid in 361 years by 73 halfyearly instalments, according to the table proscribed by the New Zealand • State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909. 4. That the proposed security for the proposed Loan shall be a Special Rate of 3-sth (three-fifths) of one penny in the £ on the capital value of all Ratable Property within the Ohinewai Special Rating District, which Rate is estimated to give and meet, in accordance with section 69 (c) of the New Zealand State-guar-anteed Advances Act, 1909, 10 per centum more than the amount of the said prescribed periodical payments or instalments of principal and interest as they fall due. And also, all the revenue of the said Road District and the said Read Board. . 5. The provision for repayment is that the said Loan shall be repaid in 36i . years, as particularly described in paragraph 3 of this notice, by 73 naif-yearly payments, in accordance with the provisions of the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1908, and of the table prescribed thereunder in the case of advance to Local Authorities. 6. That it proposes to pay out of the Loan the cost of raising the Loan and the interest on the said Loan for the first year. J. P.
