South British Insurances were in demand at 90s, but no sellers wero offering. Sellers of Bank of New Zealands (fully paid) asked £17 3s 6d, and buyers offered £16 17s 6d. A sale of Northern Coals (10s paid) took! place at 9s 6d. Auckland Gas changed hands at 30s 3d and 30s. Dovonport Steams were placed at 345.
Waihi mining shares changed hands at 42s 3d, 42b, and 42s 6d. Sellers closed at 42s 9d. Waihi Grand Junctions eased a little.
