LECTURE BY DR. BAMFORD,
A tECTtfRE was given by Dr. II- D. Bamford (president of the Auckland Law Society) on the " Legal Aspect of Insurance," at the' Chamber of Commerce last evening. Great interest was taken in the lecture, which was given under the auspices of the Insurance Institute of Auckland. The lecturer dealt in a masterly manner with the technicalities of the subject. Among thoso present were members of the Anclelan J Law Society, members of the Accountants' Society, managers and staffs of the insurance offices and members of the institute
