AUCKLAND HOSPITAL.
Sir,—ln the Herald of April 25 there was a letter in reference to the Auckland Hospital, signed by D. McCracken. I should like to endorse what he says about that institution. I was there 34 days, and went under an operation, and I must say ■ that the attendance cannot be beaten. I was in ward 6, and Sister Harris and her staff of nurses wero most kind and attentive, in fact they seem to try and excel in all they do for the patients in this ward; also the matron and Drs, Kinder, Giant, and Maguireare very attentive to all under their care. I think the whole management is very greatly to bo commended. I know my case was very risky as I am just on 70 years of age. E. B. E. Turner.
