HOCKEY.
EDEN CLUB The Mount Eden. Hockey Club will hold a practice to-morrow afternoon, on Mount Eden Domain, Epsom Avenue. A full attendance of members and . intending members is requested, as trial teams will be picked for the following week.
UNITARIAN CLUB. All members and intending members of the Unitarian Club arc requested to attend tho Remuera Polo Ground to-morrow. when a practice- match against Ponsouby will be held. Play will commence at 2.30 p.m. The following is tho Unitarian team:—P. Hobson, S. Smith, H Cullimorc, Brown, H. Rhodes, 0. Parker, C. Moore, W. Stewart. T. Stewart, H. Wright, H. Lepine, JR. Wright. UNITED CLUB. The annual meeting of tho United Hockey Club was held last oyening, and was largely attended. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season:—President, Mr. W. 0. Garland; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. Rees George, A. W. Perkins, F. S. Shirriffs, R. Clark, and H. R. Hesketh; secretary and treasurer, Mr. G. McGregor; club captain, Mr. 0. L. Jcrrain; committee, Messrs. S. C Gilfillan, G. Garland, F. B. Taylor. 0. N. Hallett, G. H. Masfen; Selection Committee. Messrs. P. B. Taylor, the club captain and team captains; auditor, Mr. J King; delegate to Auckland Hockey Association, Mr. a. C. Gilfillan. Messrs. C. Hallam and D. K. Porter were elected life members in recognition of their services to the club. Eight new members were elected, and indications generally pointed to a very successful season. The first practice of the club will be held at. the Rernuera hockey ground to-morrow, at 2 p.m.
