. AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the executive committee of the Auckland, Hockey "Association was held :on ' Thursday evening, 'when there were present: Messrs. 1 ' A. E. Tattley (chairman), E. H. Parton, H. Richards, W. E. Hay, H. C. Culpan, J. M. Alison, T. p. Wrigley, and L. H. Norton (hon. secretary).,;": • > .The pity engineer intimated that one ground at Victcda Park, and one 'at the omain, had bl? en allotted for the use of the association for the coming season. ; With respect to the Remuera grounds, a letter was revived from the Auckland Racing Club, milking an offer towards the cost of repairing the damage done by the ; wimp of special constables, and stating that it was unable to supply its own plant or groundsmen for this purpose. The matter was left in the hands of the special ground sub-committee to get an estimate of cost of making good the damage, and to have the woirk undertaken immediately A special meeting of the association was also held, at which 3 aumber of additions and amendments to the rules of the association were adopted. Under the new rules the association, will be- able to register 1908 the Incorporated Societies Act,
