MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. [by telegraph.— correspondent.} Palmerston North, Thursday. • A meeting of the council of the New Zealand Jersey Cattle-breeders' Association,' held this morning, was attended by Messrs. E. Wilkinson (Auckland), Hall (Matatoki, Thames), T. McKenjde (Carnarvon), W. V. Harkness and R. J. Linn (Taranaki), Watson (Canterbury), and W. H. Booth (Carterton). The latter pre-' . sided, , It was resolved to give a gold medal to the cow coming first respectively in * the different classes under the yearly tests carried out by the Department of Agriculture, a silver medal to each cow com-. ing second, and a bronze medal to the '1 third.
