Dtjnrdin, Tuesday. ' A supplementary wool sale was held this afternoon when 1714 bales were offered. There was a representative gathering of buyers and good competition resulted, there being a keen demand throughout. Continental buyers took practically all the seedy wool, while ' local mills competed well for all descriptions of pieces and locks. Yorkshire buyers secured the best of the crossbreds, and the opinion was expressed that several buyers must have had American orders. As much as IOJd was realised for six bales of very nice crossbred' wool. Merinos were inclined to be a little slacker, but were in good demand. The best prices were: Half bred, up to 12fd j fine crossbred to il'Jd; crossbred to 10|d; super crossbred to 12Jd; lambs' wool. to Hid; three-quarter-bred to lid; merino to lid; merino super to 13d; first' pieces to 9|d,' locks to 6id.
