STORAGE OF YACHTS.
The (question of providing sites for aquatic clubs is being dealt with by the Harbour Board at present. The Victoria Cruising Club recently asked for a fresh site for the storage of the yachts belonging to its members. At yesterday's meeting of. the board a site on the western side of the Freeman's Bay reclamation was granted, subject to cancellation if and when the property is leased. It was also decided to offer the Auckland Rowing Club its choice of alternative sites for a club shed at (a) Julian's wall, (b) Mechanics' Bay wall- On the selection of one or other of these sites the board will consider the terms upon which it will be let to the club.
